High School Economics the Easy Way
Choosing courses for our high school students can sometimes be a task which causes home educating parents a bit of stress, especially when it’s a subject that isn’t particularly near and dear to their subject genre.
I happen to have a degree in Economics, but it’s not a subject that I want to scrape together for my kids when there are so many great alternatives for homeschoolers.
Including high school economics in your homeschool either as a required subject or as an elective is a great way to ensure your student graduates with completed social studies credits for your state and total general high school requirements.
We have found that outsourcing some classes during high school is an excellent alternative to trying to “teach it all” yourself. And Paradigm Accelerated Curriculum offers just that.
Disclosure: I received complimentary materials as well as compensation for my time to give an honest review of these products and services. All opinions expressed in this post are my own. I always give my honest opinion of products as they apply to my family. See my full disclosure policy here.
Paradigm Accelerated Curriculum
Principles and Precepts of Economics offers an alternative style of teaching high school Economics than a traditional curriculum. Paradigm Accelerated Curriculum might be just the right choice for your homeschool.
As a home educating parent, I love finding new ways to incorporate independence in my high school student’s curriculum. Paradigm Accelerated Curriculum is designed with the independent, motivated student in mind.
High School Economics the Easy Way
This course is suggested for 12th grade, but as we discovered with the English Writing Skills III course, age levels are merely a suggestion. We have found it to be a very doable course for a high school freshman.
About Principles & Precepts of Economics
Principles and Precepts of Economics is a social studies course that upon completion is the equivalent of a 1/2 credit course or a 1 semester course.
